Paloma came to Coquimbo in 2007 to conduct her thesis work in the BEDIM lab. She has worked in several outreach projects with schoolchildren from preschool to highschool on the problem of garbage in the sea. Paloma is author of two educational stories called “Plas & Tika” and “The gull Lara” (see web page). Currently she is directing a conservation project of local wetlands.
